We don't promise to fix people's lives. We promise that no one has to take the next step alone.
It begins with a neighborhood pancake breakfast — round tables, real chairs, a hot griddle and plates passed down the line. No seminar and nothing to sign up for. We do have a message, and it's a simple one: nobody should have to face the hard stuff alone. And we'll always be straight with you about how the next neighborhood gets paid for. Come sit down. Have breakfast. Meet somebody.
Nothing here is free because it costs nothing. It is free because someone before you paid for it.

Our services are free because the people who came before you made that possible.
Pancakes & Love is a nonprofit, but this work is not free to run. The griddles, the food, the trailer, the gas, the permits — it all takes real money. We do not send bills. We do not pass a hat at the door. This program is built on the love and strength of Southern Utah, on grants, and on donations from neighbors like you.
Without those gifts, none of this is possible. If you are able, please help keep the table open for the next person.

Bring people together
Neighborhood pancake gatherings where residents come to eat, meet their neighbors and simply spend time together. The meal removes the barriers.

This gathering was sponsored by another community. Nobody pays for their pancakes. If you're able, you can help make the next one possible for someone else.

James “Buck” Mays — the person behind the pancakes
Pancakes & Love didn't begin as a business idea. It began with a simple belief: people need people. Buck saw neighbors struggling with things that aren't always visible — and communities full of good people who wanted to help but didn't know where to begin. The table is his answer.
